We are a Bible based Church with Christians from many denominations or none. Put simply we are followers of Jesus, we want to worship together and grow together in our faith and daily life. From October 16th we meet at the Alpha Centre in Los Nietos VIEJOS each Sunday at 10.00am. EXCEPT the first Sunday in each month we meet jointly with the Spanish Church at 11.30am.

Relaxed, genuine, modern and inclusive

The Alpha Christian Centre is a licensed church in Spain and is linked to the Open Bible network of churches throughout the world. It is however independent and self supporting.

The Pastors are Miquel and Vivien Llagostera. Working with them is a team of six from the UK, all have leadership experience in their UK Churches.

This team of Mike and Sandra Williamson, David and Joy Meek, spend part of the year in Spain. Bob and Mary Barham now live here all year round and work as joint Pastors with Miquel and Vivien.

Our Statement of Faith

We, as evangelical Christians, accept the Revelation of the only God in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit as it is written in the Word of God (the Bible), in the Old and the New Testament.
We believe the historical fact of the Gospel that is proclaimed in the whole Bible. We affirm, therefore, the doctrines that we considered decisive which must be expressed in love, in practical Christian service and in the proclamation of the Gospel:

GOD There is only one God, creator of the universe, one in essence, existing eternally in three people: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Being the true living, perfect God, in love and justice. Biblical references: II Co. 13:14; Gn. 1:26; I Tim. 1:17; Isa. 43:10.

The BIBLE is an essential and trustworthy part of the divine revelation. It is the inspired Word of God. It is the only infallible guide

for the Christian faith and life. Biblical references: Psal. 119:89; Mat. 24:35; II Tim. 3:16 - 17; II Pet. 1:19 - 21.

The FALL OF MAN. God created the universe from nothing, by his Word and for his glory. Man and woman, the crown of His

creation, were made in the image of God to have fellowship with Him. In the beginning they where tempted by Satan. They transgressed the law of God voluntarily, with the result of spiritual and physical death. For this reason, all men are born with a sinful nature and since when they are able to reason, they will suffer spiritual death. Biblical references: Gn.14: 19; Col. 1:16 - 17; Gn.1: 27; Rm. 3:10 and 23, 5:12, 6:23.

JESUS CHRIST. He is the only mediator between God and man. The eternal Son of God, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit

and born from the Virgin Mary. In His incarnation, the divine Word shared our total humanity and lived in perfect obedience to the Father. By his death he paid the atonement for all men. Christ revealed the divine love, and fulfilled the divine justice, cleaning our sins and reconciling us with God if we believe in Him. Jesus Christ rose corporally from the death, ascended to heaven, and is seated down at the right hand of the Father, where he is interceding for the saints before the throne of God. Biblical references: Acts.4: 12; Isa.53: 5; Tit 2: 14; II P.3: 9; Heb.7: 25; Rm.8: 34; Phil.2: 6-11; Jn. 1:1 - 3. (Continued)
